Mobius Silk Scarves!
I finally have something finished to share! Two silk infinity scarves with a twist!
This project took way longer than it should have, but I think the results are worth it. Two variants on an 8 shaft twill design, woven in a deep red and black.
Here are front/back photos for the two designs.
Option 1;
and Option two;
Here they are taking their beauty bath;
I have to say, that made me a bit nervous, but they came out great. I rolled them in towels, laid them flat to dry, then ironed on a low setting. I then sewed them using a flat felled seam, after twisting the cloth once, so the red-dominant and black-dominant sides have more interplay.
They are long enough to be worn as a doubled cowl, or looped through themselves as a more traditional scarf style.
Here are a few more shots of them. I just love red and black together!

Stunning, indeed!
